Hands down the best burger in LA! I've been multiple times eating there and taking it to go. Very never miss! Also don't forget to get the cheese sauce!

Burgers Never Say Die does the simple smash burger near perfectly with complimenting sides also about as textbook as textbook can be. I like that they're confident with their service, assuming that any error of ordering or receiving food is the customer's fault. And I like it even more because they have the right to be. Their service is fantastic, the workers inside take the correct order with zero issues and give out food orderly cleanly. It's a take out only spot with only a few tables dotted around nearby the ordering window so a lot of parties end up eating inside their car or at those tables or take them home. I personally opted for eating at one of the outside tables. Though I'll admit, $10 for a double smash burger is a little steep in my opinion and experience but for a one-time try it's probably worth it. The burger is simple, all of them come with ketchup, mustard, onions, and pickles, BNSD even has signs plastering that everywhere. So of course I got that, plus an order of fries and a coke. When I got my bag after about maybe 5-10 minutes, the plain white packaging is really appealing to me. It's simple because they know their food is good. Now, I like that they specifically use pellet ice for their drinks because pellet ice is definitely the best ice if you want to snack and crunch on ice. The fries are simple thinner cut fries just done well. Crunchy, nice light airy potato inside, perfectly golden sheen on the outside, like I stated before: it's textbook. Now the burger is served simple, taking their burger craft seriously and it's good. On first bite, i immediately notice that the burger is seasoned with noticeably more pepper than other burgers, a really welcome addition. The slight crunch but still an overall meaty burger is preferable in my opinion to an overly crunchy chip-like patty that some spots in LA try to achieve. All the toppings are simple but really tasty. The pickles were nice and acidic with a snapping crunch, the cheese melted nice with the meat like a creamy sauce, the onions add a sharp sweetness that I love. Overall, BNSD is like a McDonald's McDouble combo meal but every aspect of the meal, the ingredients, methods, packaging, everything is elevated to near perfection.

By far the best smash burger I've had till this day! Ordered 1 at first to try but should've took their recommendation and orders 2. Meat was crispy and tender with lots of flavor. Good pricing and portion. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quality burger in LA area.

My friend brought me here after telling me these were some of the best burgers he has ever tried. I'll start off by saying that they are pretty damn good but to think you have to pay over ten dollars for a burger that's BARELY larger than the size of your palm is ridiculous. Granted they did explain to me that these are "smash burgers" and they are supposed to be tiny so I get it lol. The service was very quick. The food was out in five minutes flat and we sat down immediately to eat it because we were both so hungry. The little seating area outside is cool and I liked that it was clean too. Though I left feeling hungry, I will say that these burgers tasted great but I'm not sure I would come back and drop that much on one again.

A few years late but finally made it to BNSD on a Thursday night. I've been wanting to go here for a while but just never did. Located near old Silver Lake stalwarts the Red Lion, Cha Cha Lounge & Rockway Records. There is plenty of parking in their lot that circles around the building. We ordered 3 regulars with cheese ($10.35 each) and that comes with double meat, cheese, ketchup, mustard, pickles & onions unless you pick otherwise. Inform them of any changes to that when ordering or you'll get all the accompaniments. BNSD is one of the better smashburgers I've had. The interesting thing about it for me is that it strikes a growing up eating McDonald's chord in a more delicious way. From all the burger accompaniments (chopped onions), to packaging and then how the fries are cut. My 2 regulars (no mustard, no pickles) was really good. I like the crispness of the meat skirt that exceeded the edges of the plain white bun, the cheese was rich and deliciously melted, ketchup and chopped onions give you those childhood McDonald's cheeseburger feels. I really liked it. My lady liked her regular with everything... But both of us were bummed on the soggy fries. We were so looking forward to having crispy fries. That would be the only bummer as they were perfectly salted. That was too bad. Order from their walk-up window, pay at the tablet, wait for your name to be called and pick up from the other window. There are a few tables and chairs on their patio and a few steps below on a lower patio area... We would go back again. The burgers were good. Hoping for crispier fries. I plan on getting a three stack ($13.35) next time and trying their soft serve. Swirl of course... Cash NOT accepted
